Good afternoon First Church Family! This week is filled with events and outings; so, please mark your calendars and plan accordingly. It will take dedication and commitment from all of us. Sunday will be a full day of worship and fellowship as listed below and we look forward to having a great time!
 
 
Our upcoming events on Sunday, Mar. 20th, will begin with 
Worship Service @ 8:30 am. NO SUNDAY SCHOOL. 
We will then travel to St. Mark in Jacksonville for service beginning at 11:00 am and 
then journey to Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Melbourne for service @ 5:00 pm. 
Our Pastor is asking all members to travel with him. 
Choirs and ushers will be serving at these services. 
 
 
Other Reminders for the week include:
 
Wed., 3/17: Midweek Service @ 6:30 pm
Thurs., 3/10: Youth Ministry Meeting @ 5:00 pm; Combined Choir Rehearsal @ 6:45 pm
Fri., 3/18: Church outing; see website for details
Sat., 3/19: Bride Groom Cometh Program @ 5:00 pm

This Week’s Reminders:
  • Wed., 3/2: Midweek Service @ 6:30 pm
  • Thurs., 3/3: Youth Meeting @ 5:00 pm; Combined Choir rehearsal @ 6:30 pm 
 
Other Important Reminders
 
USJ Mid-Winter Institute/COPP classes @ Peace MBC. 
Anyone interested in taking courses, 
please see our Christian Education Director (Sis. Terry). 
It is not to late to register. Institute will run through the 
month of June. 
 
 
Remember our Pastor is asking for us to travel with him on 
Sun., March 20th to St. Mark in Jax and then to Melbourne. 
Please put your name on the list in the vestibule so that an
accurate count can be made for transportation purposes. This
is a first-come, first-serve basis. 
 
The Teen Ministry met and has decided on a new meeting day
and time. The ministry will meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday
of each month. The first meeting will be held on Monday, 
March 7th @ 6:30 pm.

  • Sat., 2/27: Karamu Celebration @ 6:00 pm. We are looking forward to a great time of celebrating our heritage with music and instruments! Dress to impress in your African Attire. Door prizes, food, and fellowship!!!
  • Sun., 2/28: Magnification Concert @ 6:00 pm, 645 Oak Street, Jax. Let’s plan to attend and support our very own Musician, Bro. Artie Hoyle. Transportation will be provided, leaving FMBC @ 5:00 pm

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE CLOSING SERVICE FOR THE ANNUAL WEAPONS OF MASS DELIVERANCE CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD TONIGHT AT 6:30 .
PASTOR IS PREACHING AND HE HAS ASKED THAT ALL CHOIR MEMBERS, USHERS, PRAISE TEAM, LEADERS AND ALL MEMBERS BE IN PLACE.
EACH ADULT HAS BEEN ASKED TO SOW A 20.00 SEED BACK INTO OUR COMMUNITY TONIGHT AS WELL.
