This week’s reminders are as follows:
  • Wednesday, March 8th – 12 Noon (Noon Day Prayer Service
  • Wednesday, March 8th / 6:30 PM (Wednesday in the Word)
  • Combined Choir Rehearsal Thursday, March 9th @ 6:45. 
  • The Douglas Anderson School of the Arts will be presenting their “Black Art” program on this Friday, March 10th @ 6:30. Our Own, Bro. Darien Bolden Jr. Is serving as Director of this show. Transportation will depart the church 5:15 PM. If you are interested in attending, please reply to this email or contact Sis. Melita Hubbard. 
  • USJA Annual Women’s Quarterly Meeting & Mission’s Outreach Saturday, March 11th @ 9:30 AM at West Union B.C. Transportation will depart the Church @ 8:30. We need as many ladies who are able, to come out and attend as our pastor is seeking our support as he aspires to be The Next Moderator of our Great Association. Please Contact Sis. Bolden or Sis. Ferrell for more information. 
  • Don’t forget to “Spring Forward” this upcoming Sunday.

Please remember the Family of our Association Youth Directress, Sis. Phyllis Alderman in your prayers for the loss of their loved one, Sis. Bernice Alderman. 
Also, keep Sis. Maybelle Brown in your prayers as her sister is in Baptist Medical Center Jax. 
 
 
This week’s reminders are as follows:
  • Wed., 10/19: Wednesday In The Word @ 6:30 pm
  • Thurs., 10/20 Male Chorus Rehearsal @ 6:30 pm
  • Sun., 10/23: Outing to Young Zion Baptist Church; our Attendance was very poor yesterday as we traveled to Mt. Carmel, so let’s make a vow as a church family that we will worship together All day Sunday beginning @ 9 AM with Sunday School, morning Worship at 10:30, and then lets fill up the bus to travel to Young Zion. Combined Choirs and ushers will serve.

From the Pastor’s Pen,
We would like to offer our condolences as a church family to our Association Youth Directress, Sis. Phyllis Alderman concerning the loss of her Mother, Sis. Bernice Alderman.
Cast Your cares on him for he cares for you!
 
Also, lets keep The Sister of Sis. Maybelle Brown in your prayers as she is currently in ICU. She is in Baptist Hospital Jax.

AND 19 BLESSED YEARS FOR OUR PASTOR. PLEASE SHOW UP IN
YOUR SHADES OF BLUE ON TONIGHT AND BLACK & WHITE AT THE BANQUET 
ON SAT @ 6:00 PM. THE CLOSING SERVICE WILL BE HELD ON SUNDAY @ 4:00 PM.
AS PASTOR WOULD SAY, “LET’S BE AT “FIRST CHURCH” TO MEET AND GREET 
OUR GUESTS WHEN THEY ARRIVE”. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO AN

HOME-GOING CELEBRATION

Services for Sis. Mary Alice Gates will take place as follows:

  • Public Viewing: Friday, July 15th, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. 
  • Home-going Celebration: Saturday, July 16th – 11:00 a.m.
  • All services are at First Missionary Baptist Church & the Repast will be held in the Emma B. Delaney Fellowship Hall
 
 

Per Pastor Bolden, Districts are asked to do the following for the repast:

 
  • District 1: Vegetables
  • District 2: Starches
  • District 3: Desserts
  • District 4: Rolls
  • District 5: Drinks
Please make contact with your district leader to receive further instructions. 
 
Pray for Sis. Shaun Hubbard and Family during their time of bereavement. Thank you and God bless!
